Clark Electric Cooperative is hiring linemen. Clark Energy Cooperative's own history began when farmers from all across the country and their neighbors joined together to form an electric cooperative to make certain they would not be deprived of the conveniences of electricity. The cooperative or also known as the REA, changed its name to Clark Energy Cooperative in 1998 and now serves more than 27,000 meters in 11 east central Kentucky counties. Its power supplier remains East Kentucky Power Cooperative located in Winchester.

Step 02. Apprentice
The lineworker apprentice at Clark Electric is responsible for a variety of tasks and accepts assignments from Line Supervisor on shift and shall be assigned to work directly with a 1st Class Lineman. Learns to perform those tasks required in the construction, maintenance or operation of electrical power transmission and distribution facilities. Lineman Apprentice I shall be assigned to a Line Supervisor on 1 of 4 rotating shift schedule: midnight to 08:00 a.m.; 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.; and 04:00 p.m. to midnight and a swing-shift.
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at Clark Electric Cooperative Location and repair secondary service wires extending from the meter to other building and those connections.
