Peabody Municipal Light Plant is hiring lineman. The PMLP serves all of Peabody and a portion of Lynnfield (an autonomous subdivision of the City of Peabody). With approximately 26,000 customers, PMLP is the third largest of 40 municipal electric utilities in the Commonwealth. Our power supply comes from a variety of sources throughout the Northeast, including 2 generators in Peabody owned and operated by PMLP

Average lineman hourly pay ranges from approximately $26.88 per hour at Peabody Municipal Light Plant. Peabody Municipal Light Plant including health insurance program.
Lineman Apprenticeships at Peabody Municipal Light Plant
Lineman apprentices at Peabody will be responsible for construction, maintenance and operations. Use shovels, sledge hammers and 90 lb jack hammers. Perform aerial work in a safety belt in a safe and efficient manner

Journeyman lineman at Peabody Municipal Light Plant Lineman performs site preparation tasks, including digging holes or trenches, installing anchors, climbing poles, and using equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, and dump trucks. Constructs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground transmission lines.
Peabody Municipal Light Plant Lineman Job Hiring Process
