United Power Inc. is hiring linemen. United Power is a not-for-profit electric cooperative owned by the customer-members who receive its electricity. It is governed by a member-elected board of directors that directs operations, oversees rate changes, and helps plan for the future. United Power provides electric service to homes and businesses throughout Colorado's northern Front Range, from the mountains of Coal Creek and Golden Gate Canyon to the farmlands of Brighton, Hudson, and Keenesburg.
Step 01. Pay

Step 02. Apprentice

Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at United Power Inc. A lineman is responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment. This includes work from power plants to the meters of customers homes.
Step 04. Hiring
To become a lineman at United Power Inc must have high school diploma or G.E.D. plus completion of technical training in line maintenance, construction and safety.
