Step 01. Pay

Step 02. Apprentice
Lineman apprentices at Dominion Virginia Power will be responsible for construction, maintenance and operations. Use shovels, sledge hammers and 90 lb jack hammers. Perform aerial work in a safety belt in a safe and efficient manner
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at Dominion Virginia Power The repair and maintenance of both overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, Being the first responder to power outages, Working closely with the Regional Operations Centers within the Dominion service territory, Working a rotating shift and Available for call-outs during outages and or storm restoration events.
Step 04. Hiring
A Lineman at Dominion Virginia Power Must presently be a qualified Distribution Journeyman Lineman, Climb poles and towers, Work aloft with and lift tools and material up to 60 lbs and Drive and/or operate vehicles for long distances.
