Step 02. Apprentice
The apprentice lineworkers at Fiber Connect works under general supervision of the Foreman the Lineman performs skilled line work in the operation, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems. Learn and assist with operating, inspecting, and maintaining aerial devices, digger/derricks, excavation equipment, and other electric line related equipment. Assist Journeyman class with performing distribution switching, documentation and mapping information, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at Fiber Connect will perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of fiber. You will test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation. You will self-supervise all operations to ensure that all splicing operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications and You will field train and control/oversee the work of other Splicers when necessary.
Step 04. Hiring
To become a lineman at Fiber Connect must have Driver's License, Work authorization and Computer networking of 1 year.
