Lineman Apprenticeships at Dominion Energy
Lineworker apprentices at Dominion Energy will experience with both sticking and gloving methods of work Apprentices will learn all aspects of Line work while completing on the job training (OJT) hours. Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Operate heavy and light equipment including digger derricks, aerial lift devices, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, dump trucks and various dirt equipment. Apprentice must, at all times, follow all safety policies and procedures

Journeyman lineman at Dominion Energy Responsibilities will include a full range of line construction and maintenance work on the electrical distribution systems. Must presently be a qualified Distribution Journeyman Lineman, Climb poles and towers, Drive and/or operate vehicles for long distances, Work aloft with and lift tools and material up to 60 lbs and Work in inclement weather as needed or service dictates.
