Adheres to the Corporation’s high safety standards by following approved safe working plansand worker administered and operator administered protection plans. Learns to construct, repair wood pole power lines and towers. Learns climbing skills, safety procedures, tool/material use and digger/crane truck operation. Assists a Journey Power Line Technician in setting and guying poles, pulling cables, wiresand other conductors.Installs and removes distribution transformers, cross-arms and related hardware.
