Details about Jackson College Lineworker Pre-Apprentice Program
Jackson College, in partnership with Consumers Energy, offers the EMPOWER Lineworker Pre-Apprentice Program to prepare students for entry-level careers in the electric utility industry. Over one semester, students complete a 20-credit certificate that includes training in pole climbing, basic electricity, safety protocols, and physical conditioning.
