Details about Manitoba Hydro Power Line Technician Training Program
This 4-year apprenticeship program includes competency-based trade schools, formal classes, and on-the-job training and will prepare you for a career as a power line technician. Power line technicians construct, maintain and repair electrical power transmission and distribution systems. When there is a power disturbance, failure or storm damage, power line technicians locate and resolve the problem.
