TriCounty Technical College Power Line Worker Certification Program
This program is broken into two courses. Couse one covers basic construction skills (2 weeks) includes NCCER Core Safety, OSHA 10, and American Heart Association (CPR). Course two covers basic power line safety (10 weeks) such as Power Line Worker Safety introduction to electric current, introduction to electric theory, climbing wooden poles, climbing structures other than wood, service equipment and rigging.
