Hudson Valley Community College Line Worker Certificate Program
The three-semester Overhead Electric Line Worker certificate will train you for employment with electric utility companies. To fill their workforce needs, utilities are looking for employees who have completed technical training at the community college level. This academic program is primarily designed for those who wish to enter the workforce immediately following graduation. Some students who complete the Electrical Construction and Maintenance A.O.S. program continue on to complete this certificate. This program is offered by the Applied Technologies Department.
