Who this program is for
You already need a job to get in. NEPPA takes people who work for a public power utility or a contractor. It is not a program that enrolls someone who is still looking for that first seat. NEPPA asked Lineman Central to make that plain. The apprenticeship is still on their calendar, so this page stays up. The program is four years. It uses the Northwest Lineman College lineworker curriculum. Class meets four times a year at the training center, 200 New Estate Road, Littleton, Massachusetts. On the 2027 schedule, Tuesday through Thursday is in person and Monday and Friday are virtual. Each year also has a two-day skills assessment rodeo. The price on NEPPA's site is $5,350 per person per year for members, and $8,100 per person per year for non-members. The number at the top of this page is the member rate for one year. If you do not already have the utility or contractor job, look at other Massachusetts programs, or the pre-apprenticeship, before you write NEPPA.

These apprentices already have the job when they start. The yearly skills assessment rodeo is part of the program. This page does not show a placement rate, because NEPPA has not published one and the students are already employed.
