Local 70 is a lineman’s local with outside union jurisdiction in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Jefferson Co. and Hardy Co. West Virginia. Utilities our contractors work for are Dominion, BGE, PEPCO, Potomac Edison, and many other COOPS. Local 70 has a nationally recognize Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship programs thru ALBAT.
