Lineman Apprenticeships at High West Energy

Lineworker apprentices at High West Energy will experience with both sticking and gloving methods of work Apprentices will learn all aspects of Line work while completing on the job training (OJT) hours. Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Operate heavy and light equipment including digger derricks, aerial lift devices, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, dump trucks and various dirt equipment. Apprentice must, at all times, follow all safety policies and procedures

Journeyman lineman at High West Energy install wire, conduit, panel boards, fixtures, devices, pre-fab assemblies, boxes, and breakers according to job specifications and NEC, Directly work with other electricians and helpers as part of a team and Install electrical distribution and automation equipment: switchgear, panels, transformers, PLC control cabinets and VFD's.

To become a lineman at High West Energy you must have the ability to climb and work at heights. Must possess and maintain a valid CDL state driver's license. You also need a high school diploma or GED.
