About
Salt Lake Community College Lineman Program
Celebrating its 10th Anniversary in 2022, the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Lineworker Program is located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, where world class skiing and boarding meet blue ribbon fishing and hunting, SLCC is dedicated to serving our students and local employers. We are committed to providing an affordable opportunity for students to gain the skills employers expect. We work with both union and non-union, municipal and contractor utility partners in the electric power industry to develop and improve our curriculum. Students enrolled in the Lineworker Program at SLCC benefit from in-person instruction, online learning, and hands-on labs taught by industry professionals with over 200 years of combined experience. Our graduates set themselves apart from other applicants due to their knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience. We look forward to discussing how we can support your company’s training needs or give you the personal education and training you need to get started on your journey in this essential trade.
