Air2 is hiring lineman. Air2 is a specialty provider of helicopter-assisted utility construction and maintenance services for extra-high voltage (EHV) transmission lines throughout the country. Air2 power line leaders bring together more than 100 years of combined working experience providing premier construction, maintenance, emergency response and inspection services to North American utility companies.

AIR2 Lineman Pay and Salary Information

Average Air2 Lineperson hourly pay in the United States is approximately $37.25 based on our annual survey. There is a strong opportunity for overtime pay when working at AIR2.

Lineman Apprenticeships at AIR2

Lineman apprenticeships for AIR2 are facilitated by PLH Group. The PLH Apprenticeship Program was launched in January 2012 and since then dozens of transmission, distribution and substation employees have enrolled and graduated, earning their U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Journeyman certification.

AIR2 Journeyman Lineman Jobs

Journeyman lineman at Air2 train apprentices and other crew members in maintenance and construction of power lines. They also inspect lines, poles and equipment for signs of damage or wear and reports deficiencies. The lineman select and use a variety of "hot line" tools and makes use of rubber gloves, line hoses, mechanical jumpers, fiber guards, blankets and other protective devices

AIR2 Lineman Job Hiring Process

All lineman at Air2 are required to travel with required work clothing, PPE, tools, and gear. Hooks, belt, harness, boots, and hand tools (Kleins, screw drivers and channel locks) are provided.
