Provide technical skills needed for the operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services for the consumer, completing jobs with quality and timeliness

American Electric Power Journeyman Lineman Jobs

Journeyman lineman at American Electric Power constructs, maintains, and repairs overhead and underground transmission lines. Performs site preparation tasks, including digging holes or trenches, installing anchors, climbing poles, and using equipment like digger derricks, aerial lifts, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, and dump trucks.

American Electric Power Lineman Job Hiring Process

Lineman at American Electric Power Must possess and maintain a valid CDL A state driver's license or be able to obtain one within six months. Must have the ability to climb and work at heights. Must have the ability to communicate with employees, customers and the general public in a courteous and proper manner.
