Baldwin EMC is a member-owned cooperative supplying electric service to more than 82,000 meters throughout Baldwin County and southern Monroe County in southwestern Alabama. The service territory sits between Mobile, Alabama, and Pensacola, Florida, and includes Gulf Shores and Orange Beach.
Step 01. Pay

Step 02. Apprentice
The lineworker apprentice at Baldwin EMC is responsible for a variety of tasks and accepts assignments from Line Supervisor on shift and shall be assigned to work directly with a 1st Class Lineman. Learns to perform those tasks required in the construction, maintenance or operation of electrical power transmission and distribution facilities. Lineman Apprentice I shall be assigned to a Line Supervisor on 1 of 4 rotating shift schedule: midnight to 08:00 a.m.; 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.; and 04:00 p.m. to midnight and a swing-shift.
Step 03. Journeyman
