Step 02. Apprentice
The Apprentice Lineman at Canby Electric assists Journeyman Lineman and the Foreman while in training and learning the trade. Responsible for performing diversified work related to the construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity. Provide technical skills needed for the operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services for the consumer, completing jobs with quality and timeliness
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at Canby Electric Maintain and repairs cable, conduit, vaults, enclosures, and transformers. Performs switching, locating, hi-potting and testing, fault finding, exposing, splicing, and terminating of URD cables. Loads, unloads, frames and sets or removes poles. Installs or removes lightning arresters, terminators, cutouts, transformers, capacitors, reclosers, sectionalizers, regulators, and/or other protective devices.
Step 04. Hiring
