Step 02. Apprentice
The Apprentice Lineman at GreyStone Power assists Journeyman Lineman and the Foreman while in training and learning the trade. Responsible for performing diversified work related to the construction and maintenance of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the distribution of electricity. Provide technical skills needed for the operation and maintenance of reliable electrical services for the consumer, completing jobs with quality and timeliness
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at GreyStone Power Corporation Must be capable of climbing and working on de-energized secondary poles while under direct supervision of Foreman, Lead Lineman or Lineman. Loads and secures material on trucks. Sets up work zone including road signs, road cones and flags traffic and Prohibited from climbing poles or structures normally energized at primary voltage.
Step 04. Hiring
GreyStone Power Corporation Lineman must have the Four-year electrical lineman apprenticeship, CPR and First aid certification and Commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker and airbrake certification.
