Step 02. Apprentice
Power Line Tech II wants journeyman-level high-voltage experience: lineworker school plus four years, or five years in the trade, DoL journeyman credentials preferred, CDL Class B. Live within about 20 minutes of Boone (or relocate in 90 days). NRLP also points green hands at Caldwell CC's Electrical Lineworker Institute and Nash CC, and funds linework scholarships for Watauga County seniors.
Step 03. Journeyman
