Lineworker apprentices at Braun Electric will experience with both sticking and gloving methods of work Apprentices will learn all aspects of Line work while completing on the job training (OJT) hours. Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Operate heavy and light equipment including digger derricks, aerial lift devices, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, dump trucks and various dirt equipment. Apprentice must, at all times, follow all safety policies and procedures

• Have completed an apprenticeship in the electrical trade (4+ years’ experience, at least 8000hrs -10,000hrs)
• State certification preferred, but not required
• Must pass pre-employment hair follicle drug test, physical, and functional capacity exam
• Use safe work practices at all times
• Understand the use of NEC and NFPA requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing"
