Step 01. Pay

Step 02. Apprentice
Lineworker apprentices at Florida Municipal Power you will experience with both sticking and gloving methods of work Apprentices will learn all aspects of Line work while completing on the job training (OJT) hours. Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Operate heavy and light equipment including digger derricks, aerial lift devices, pulling and tensioning equipment, forklifts, dump trucks and various dirt equipment. Apprentice must, at all times, follow all safety policies and procedures
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman at Florida Municipal Power Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and service upgrades. Assist linemen in restoring overhead and underground outages. Assist linemen in solving power quality issues and maintaining existing overhead and underground line.
Step 04. Hiring
Florida Municipal Power Lineman requires having a valid commercial driver's license (CDL), first aid certification, competency in CPR and pole top rescue.
