Step 01. Pay
The average Helix Electric lineman salary ranges from approximately $33,863 per year and approximately $12.00 per hour. Helix Electric has Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance and Life Insurance programs.
Step 02. Apprentice
The lineworker apprentice at Helix Electric is responsible for a variety of tasks and accepts assignments from Line Supervisor on shift and shall be assigned to work directly with a 1st Class Lineman. Learns to perform those tasks required in the construction, maintenance or operation of electrical power transmission and distribution facilities. Lineman Apprentice I shall be assigned to a Line Supervisor on 1 of 4 rotating shift schedule: midnight to 08:00 a.m.; 08:00 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.; and 04:00 p.m. to midnight and a swing-shift.
Step 03. Journeyman
Journeyman lineman roles at Helix Electric emphasize training from planning through execution, with focus on safe tool use and hazard recognition and control. Helix expects employees to create a safe work environment every day and for every task, backed by an award-winning safety history.
Step 04. Hiring
